EDUCATIONAL SCENARIO

EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATION OF THE DISTRICT

            The District Collector is the Chairperson of Elementary Education and District SSA Committee. Sarva Sikshya Abhiyan has been started in the district from July-2003 after completion of DPEP. District Project Co-ordinator is the main functionaries of the SSA. For better implementation, effective supervision and monitoring of different educational programmes, the district has been devided in to 3 education districts i.e. Dhenkanal Sadar, Kamakhyanagar & Hindol. Dhenkanal Educational district comprises  3 blocks namely Sadar, Gondia & Odapada, Kamakhyanagar Educational district comprises  4 blocks namely K.nagar, Bhuban, Parjang & Kankadahad &  Hindol Educational District comprises  one block i.e. Hindol.

Dhenkanal Educational  District : -         Sadar, Gondia & Odapada

K.nagar Educational District       :-        K.nagar, Bhuban, Parjang & Kankadahad

Hindol Educational Disrict              :-     Hindol.

            In each education district District Inspector of Schools a class-II officer of OES cadre has been posted for proper administration and qualitative improvement. The education district Dhenkanal, Hindol & Kamakhyanagar subdivided in to 11, 5 & 15 educational circles respectively. In each circle one S.I. of schools has been placed. For implementation of various activities and providing qualitative support 8 senior teachers have been deputed as BRC Co-ordiantors in 8 blocks. Each block subdivided into 17 CRC and 133 teachers have been deputed as CRC Co-ordinators in Cluster Level.
