Janani express
: The first Janani express was launched on 10th July 2008 in Anlabereni
under Kamakhya Nagar block by the CDMO, Dhenkanal. The express is carrying the pregnant
women for safe institutional delivery and neonates for necessary treatment
to the hospital. On 25th July 2008 the 2nd Janani express of Dhenkanal
district has started operating at Parjang CHC/block. The Janani Express in
the two locations are managed by one NGO named VARR under PPP.
Another
two Janani Express are being launched and operationalising at Sriramchandrapur CHC & Hindol CHC.
